Horseshoe Casino employees donate school supplies

Employees of Horseshoe Casino collected a variety of school supplies, which included glue, crayons, pencils, pens, erasers, notebooks and other items. The items were sorted and packed in three boxes and will be distributed to homeless students that attend Hammond Public Schools.

Horseshoe Casino Hammond has partnered with the School City of Hammond for nearly a decade during the summer season to gather school supplies for students. The school supply drive lasts a month and employees can bring various school supply essentials to help needy students. Horseshoe Casino Hammond was able to donate over 100 different items.

Through the generosity of these employees, homeless students will be able to start out the school year with supplies and their parents will have one less burden of worry.

The School City of Hammond truly appreciates the generosity of the Horseshoe Casino employees.
