The City of Hammond, Department of Community Development, is in the process of preparing its 2027-2028 budget for Community Development Block Grant (CDBG), Emergency Solutions Grant (ESG), and Community Housing and Development Organization (CHDO).
Applications will be available beginning October 12, 2026. The application must be completed and returned to the Department of Community Development, 5925 Calumet Ave, Suite 314, Hammond, IN 46320, by Friday, November 13, 2026. Any application received after Friday, November 13, 2026, will not be considered for funding.
