Applicants must be at least 21 years of age, but not older than 35, unless already a career firefighter in the state of Indiana. Lateral transfers of current Indiana PERF accepted. Applicants with an Indiana Firefighter 1 and Firefighter 2 certification are strongly encouraged to apply. Applicants must hold a valid State of Indiana Emergency Medical Technician or Paramedic Certification, or a Nationally Registry EMT/Paramedic License. Hold a valid Indiana Driver’s License, a High School Diploma or GED, and pass all pre-employment testing.

Starting probationary pay is $46,528
After completion of first-year, minimum pay is $59,691
