Music in the Air

Hammond’s 11th Annual Festival of the Lakes is a five-day summer celebration that begins July 16 and concludes July 20. The festival focuses on entertainment, food, and activities. This year’s entertainment includes The Kinsey Report opening for Jimmy Cliff to kick off the week on Wednesday, July 16. Jimmy Sarr Band will open for Big & Rich featuring Cowboy Troy for our Country Night on Thursday, July 17. On Friday, July 18, History’s End and The Craw Puppies will open for Sublime w/Rome followed by fireworks by Mad Bomber to top off the night. Saturday, July 19, will feature Bunker Town followed by The Under the Sun tour which includes headliners Sugar Ray, Blues Traveler, and Uncle Kracker! The night will again end with a Mad Bomber fireworks show. Closing out our five-day festival on Sunday, July 20 is the great music of Banda Los Recoditos for our Latin Night.

All concerts are held at the beautiful, award-winning Pavilion at Wolf Lake starting at approximately 7 p.m. Parking is $25 per car and admission is FREE! That’s right, come enjoy a beautiful summer night along Wolf Lake with delicious food, live music, and so much more for FREE admission!

Fishing for Trophies

With so many of the festival activities taking place on the shores of Wolf Lake, why not include a Fishing Derby? The 11th Annual Fishing Derby gives people a chance to come out and compete for prizes in two divisions for landing the largest bass, walleye, perch and pan fish. This event costs a mere dollar and proceeds are used to support the Wolf Lake stocking program.

Children’s Entertainment

Our Children’s Stage includes fun for all ages! Attractions include: Region ATA, Hammond Academy for the Performing Arts, Michelle’s Dance Center, Ballet Folklorico, Rusty from the Gary SouthShore RailCats and Miss Indiana Latina and Miss Teen Indiana Latina (The Alvarez Group).
