Please join Hammond Mayor Thomas M. McDermott, Jr., Chief Andy Short and the Hammond Police Department for a press conference on Tuesday, June 1st at 11:30 a.m. at Schoop’s Hamburgers, 7235 Indianapolis Blvd in Hammond.

This press conference will discuss a new partnership between the police department, local businesses and residents related to enhancements being made to Hammond’s successful Blue Net.  Mayor McDermott looks forward to your participation to learn about the latest technology being utilized in an effort to maintain the safety and security of Hammond businesses and residents.
