The City of Hammond, Department of Community Development, is in the process of preparing its 2026-2027 budget for Community Development Block Grant (CDBG), Emergency Solutions Grant (ESG), and Community Housing and Development Organization (CHDO).
Applications will be available beginning November 3, 2025. The application must be completed and returned to the Department of Community Development, 5925 Calumet Ave, Suite 314, Hammond, IN 46320, by Friday, November 28, 2025. Any application received after Friday, November 28, 2025, will not be considered for funding.
