The Hammond Public Works Sanitation division will not be working Monday, February 20, 2023, in observance of Presidents’ Day. Monday through Friday’s garbage pick-ups will be one day late. Sanitation will be working on Saturday, February 25, 2023.

The Indiana Alcohol and Tobacco Commission approved the transfer of an alcoholic beverage permit previously held by Coach’s Corner on Kennedy Avenue to the City of Hammond.
