The City of Hammond will be hosting our Indoor Trunk or Treat once again this year. The event will be held on Thursday, October 8, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Hammond Civic Center, 5825 Sohl Avenue, Hammond, IN 46320. The deadline to apply to participate as a vendor is Monday, September 28, 2026. Participation is free, and we anticipate an attendance of 750+ participants. This is a family-friendly event, and all participating vendors must represent an organizational group or business. Please note that selling of items is not permitted.
We have several space options available on a limited, first-come, first-served basis:
- 10′ x 10′ booth spaces for pop-up tents and decorated displays
- Interactive vendor spaces for games and activities
- Table-only spaces for vendors who do not require a booth space
We will again be creating a maze-style setup, with booth spaces positioned closely together and lined up one after another. This setup helps guide participants through the event and keeps the overall flow moving efficiently. One table and two chairs will be provided at each spot. Vendors using a table must decorate or cover their table, and all vendors are expected to decorate their area. Please make sure all decorations, props, and activities remain within your assigned space. Costumes are encouraged! No electric service will be provided. Vendors offering interactive games with prizes, rather than passing out candy, will be placed at the opposite end of the gym. This helps prevent the main line from bunching up and keeps participants moving. We will provide additional details regarding the load in details, layout and vendor setup closer to the event date.
With more than 750+ people expected during a two-hour event, maintaining a quick and steady flow is very important.
