Mayor Thomas M. McDermott, Jr. of the City of Hammond, along with the Hammond Faith-Based Community, invites all citizens from Hammond and surrounding areas to participate in the National Day of Prayer on Thursday, May 7, 2026, at 8 a.m.

The event will be held at the Hammond Sportsplex, 6630 Indianapolis Blvd, Hammond, IN 46320.
