The Hammond Police Department will be accepting applications for ACADEMY CERTIFIED OFFICERS ONLY! Applications will be accepted from Monday, February 22 – Friday, March 4, 2016. The Hammond Public Works Sanitation division will not be working Monday, February 15, 2016 in observance of Presidents’ Day. Monday through Friday’s garbage pick-ups will be one day late the week of February 15th – 29th 2016.
