Hammond Students Awarded in National Contest
Three Hammond sophomores from Morton Senior High School competed in National American Miss’ - Miss Indiana Teen Pageant in Indianapolis held on July 20-22.
Lauren Innes (PICTURED) won the Academic Achievement First Runner Up in the Junior Teen (ages 16, 17 & 18) division. Robyn Minks won top honors for the Volunteer Service Award also in the Junior Teen division. Petra Faught was given a Platinum Award for Advertising and Sponsorship of the event.
