Hammond Transit System provides an ideal way to display your message across the Hammond area. Have a rolling billboard, or a sign on a bus shelter that will give 24 HOUR...7 DAY A WEEK…AROUND THE CLOCK…NON-STOP ADVERTISING! It is very inexpensive and highly visible.
We have thirteen buses that provide service throughout Hammond, Whiting and Robertsdale, and also parts of Highland, Munster, and the East Side of Chicago. There are two (2) exterior sign racks on each bus – one curb side and one street side. The street side rack is for signs 28” x 72” and the cost is $135 per month. The curb side rack is for signs 22” x 72” for a cost of $125 per month. There is also interior sign space available for $25 per month for signs measuring 11” x 28”. A 10% discount is available for five (5) or more exterior signs. A 3-month guarantee is necessary for bus advertising.
Buses are in service from approximately 6:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. (6:00 a.m. until 7:30 p.m. on Route 1) Monday through Friday. No service is provided on Saturday, Sunday, or holidays.
Advertising is also available on the 33 bus shelters around the city of Hammond. Two 14” X 14” signs will be available on each shelter. The cost per sign is $100 per month and there will be a 6-month guarantee required.
The advertiser is responsible for contracting with a printing company for the design and printing of the signs for the buses. The signs for the bus shelters will be constructed of clear polycarb and printed second surface with a white backer making it graffiti resistant. The advertiser is responsible for all printing and design costs. Our knowledgeable staff can assist you in finding a printing company for the buses.
Advertising space is available on a first come basis, so book your space early to ensure availability.
All advertisers are required to sign an advertising contract.
