Kramer & Leonard donates school supplies to School City of Hammond

Kramer & Leonard, an office supply store in Chesterton, Indiana, donated 70 school supply kits to the School City of Hammond. Each kit contained about 25 school supply items, including construction paper, colored pencils, crayons, folders, a composition book, pens, mechanical pencils, glue stick, ruler, stickers, bookmark, notebook, pen and pencil grips. The items will be distributed to homeless students in the School City of Hammond and students at Haven House Domestic Shelter.

This is the first year that the School City of Hammond has been the recipient of school supplies from Kramer & Leonard.

Kramer & Leonard, a Northwest Indiana leader in business supplies, school supplies and office furniture has been locally owned and operated for over 30 years. Kramer & Leonard wants to support education and believes in giving back to the community. Thanks to the generosity of their vendors, $25,000 worth of supplies were donated to community schools.

Through the generosity of Kramer & Leonard, homeless students are able to begin their school year with supplies, and their parents will have one less burden of worry.
