Mayor Thomas M. McDermott, Jr. and the Hammond Port Authority are proud to announce the details of the annual Fourth of July Celebration at Wolf Lake.
The annual Naturalization Ceremony will begin July 4th at 5:00pm at The Pav. The Bill Porter Orchestra is guaranteed to put you in a patriotic mood when they perform after the ceremony’s completion (approximately 7:00pm). Fireworks wrap the evening at approximately 9:00pm.
This is a free event. Concert-goers are encouraged to bring chairs or blankets and picnic baskets. Bags may be subject to search by security. Other restrictions may apply.
The launch ramp will close at noon on July 4th and reopen upon the completion of the event.
