Hammond Mayor Thomas M. McDermott, Jr. in conjunction with the Hammond Parks and Recreation Department, 4th District Councilman William Emerson, and the Hammond Board of Parks Commissioners will begin the revitalization of Edison Park with a groundbreaking ceremony slated for May 1st at 2:30pm.
